THE COMPONENTS OF THE TRAINING
Altitude
Karate Training in altitude to improve mental strength, cardiovascular
strength and endurance.
Karate Practice
This is not a Special Training, clinic or 24 hr. practice. It is a
specialized training camp covering techniques, movements and angles of
training to generate and develop more explosiveness. Godan, Tom Muzila will conduct a series of karate practices in the woods and by the lakeside.
Cross-Training
Certified Personal Trainer, Rebecca French will conduct a series of
strength, conditioning, endurance/cardiovascular, agility, flexibility and nutritional sessions. One sessions will be conducted in a gym. Specific short, explosive agility exercises will be performed to improve your karate practice on all levels!
Nature
Participants will test their limits together in extreme conditions that include, altitude, terrain, elemental changes and sleeping outside. Physical and mental stress combined with the natural elements will make your experience truly epic and memorable. This will include blindfold training, peripheral vision training and intuition training to develop a oneness with nature.
Mokuso
Participants will also practice meditation to “clear, control, one’s mind and thoughts.” Executed various times in nature through the training sessions. Numerous dynamic breathing techniques will be introduced to provide more energy, focus and concentration.

There are numerous places in town to eat between practices. You may also bring some food and drinks with ice in a cooler if desired.
Sleeping to be outside – tents optional
Bring warm clothes, sleeping bags and blankets
Bring two Gi’s & belt, running shoes and sweatshirts

From Los Angeles: Take 210 East to 330 towards Big Bear. Continue on 18 East to the stoplight and turn Left (North Shore Drive). Drive approximately 4 miles to North Shore Lane and turn right. LHR&M is on the Right.
